Sunny Acres Farm is a thoroughbred breeding farm in Prospect, KY - only
a short drive from Churchill Downs. This farm is representative of the
small scale private breeders that are as important to the racing industry as
the huge breeding operations of Lexington.
At Sunny Acres, a few foals are bred to go to the Keeneland yearling sales,
and a few are kept to be raced under the Falkon Stable colors. Some horses are
purchased to race, including -
George and Janet Falk are the owners of Sunny Acres Farm. Here are the Falks in the paddock at Keeneland.
Mr. Falk consulted with Joe Montano, son of trainer Angel Montano, in the paddock at Churchill Downs
prior to the debut of his 2 year old colt Six Kings.
Brad Guyton is Sunny Acres' farm manager, trainer, and exercise rider.
He plays a big part in the creation
of new racing prospects, from taking the farm's mares to the stallion farms
for breeding, to foaling, raising, breaking, and finally conditioning the young horses
for their first start at the race track.

This 2 year old colt is by Sefapiano, a son of Fappiano, out of Street Smart by Beau Genius. He is training
at High Pointe Farm near Louisville.
